BEACH HEADS TO BATON ROUGE FOR LSU INVITATIONAL

Tallahassee, Fla. – The No. 4 ranked Florida State Seminoles (16-2) will travel to Baton Rouge, Louisiana this weekend for the LSU Beach Invitational.

The Noles will compete in five duals this weekend. Their opponents include Texas A&M Corpus Christi, No. 13 Washington, Southern Miss, Spring Hill College and No. 5 LSU.

Action will start on Saturday, March 25 at 12:00 p.m. ET against Texas A&M Corpus Christi. The Noles have not played against the Islanders this season. The last time these two teams met was in 2022 at the Unconquered Invitational where the Noles swept with a 5-0 victory.

The second match of the day will be a rematch against No 13 Washington at 3:00 p.m. ET. The two teams have met on the sand already this year at the Seminole Beach Bash, where the Noles took a 4-1 win. This will be the second time in program history where these two teams meet on the sand.

The Seminoles will close out Saturday with a match under the lights against Southern Miss at 7:00 p.m. ET. Florida State leads the series 3-0 all-time against Southern Miss. The two teams have not played each other since 2021 where the Seminoles came away with a 5-0 win.

On Sunday, March 26 the Noles will have new competition with a match against Spring Hill College at 9:00 a.m. ET. The teams have not faced each other before in program history.

For their final match of the weekend, Florida State will take on host and conference foe No. 5 LSU at 11:00 a.m. ET. The Seminoles and Tigers met once already this season at the March to May Tournament in Gulf Shores, with the Noles taking a 3-2 win. Florida State leads the all-time record 19-2.
