With the Paralympic Games approaching, Brazil’s sitting volleyball teams will gather once again at the Brazilian Paralympic Training Centre in the city of Sao Paulo to begin the second training week from February 17 to March 2 in preparation for Paris 2024.
In order to make the most of the training, the teams will train in separate sessions. The women’s team will start their camp from February 17-25, while the men’s team will gather shortly after the women’s training on February 25 until March 2.
During this time, athletes will undergo two court training sessions per day, in addition to gym workouts, physiotherapy and psychology sessions.
The stage is set for exciting comebacks and fresh faces, as the second training phase sees the return of Camila Maria Leiria de Castro, Tokyo 2020 bronze medallist. Alan Tadeu Sales Rosendo and Gustavo Henrique de Jesus will inject new energy into the men’s lineup.
