Despite Thailand’s commendable service game in the first two sets, the Europeans showcased formidabale offence, particularly from the left flank with players Klara Vrabic and Barbara Kocmur leading the charge to win 3-0 (25-12, 25-12, 25-9). With this win, Slovenia solidifies their position, entering the final with an unbeaten record.
In the second match, Iran stunned Germany with a resounding 3-0 (25-13, 26-24, 25-21) victory, securing second place in the rankings. Iran’s triumph over the German team sent shockwaves as it reshaped the landscape of the tournament.
Iran’s finely crafted offence and impenetrable defense proved to be too much to handle for their European counterparts. And with each set, Iran tightened their grip on the match, leaving their opponents reeling.
