Athletes Unlimited begins its fourth season on October 3 and Brooke Nuneviller, Natalia Valentin-Anderson, Morgan Hentz, and Bethania de la Cruz will serve as captains and draft the first teams. The Pro Volleyball Federation is gearing up for its second season and a new league, LOVB, also has its first matches in January.
But not all Americans can stay home and play in the domestic leagues. Quite a few are choosing to play abroad, including Olympians Kathryn Plummer and Dana Rettke, who have moed to Eczacıbaşı Dynavit in Türkiye, and Olympian Avery Skinnr, who returns to Chieri 76 in Italy. The other Olympians are playing with LOVB.
Other players who have been in the USA gym who are playing in other countries include many former NCAA stars.
