CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Big Ten Conference announced the dates for the 2024 Volleyball Media Days, which will take place Aug. 5-6 at the Big Ten Network studios in Chicago.
Nine Big Ten Conference volleyball programs (Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska, Northwestern, Rutgers and Wisconsin) will arrive at the Big Ten Network studios on Monday, Aug. 5, for a series of interview sessions and other creative content opportunities to preview the 2024 volleyball season. The remaining nine Big Ten Conference programs (Indiana, Minnesota, Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, Purdue, Washington, UCLA and USC) will go through a similar schedule on Tuesday, Aug. 6.
Last season, Fighting Illini head coach Chris Tamas, two-time All-Big Ten First Team selection Raina Terry and 2022 All-Big Ten Freshman Team honoree Brooke Mosher attended the second-ever event. In 2022, the Big Ten became the first collegiate conference to host an in-person preseason volleyball media event.
