BOULDER—The Colorado Buffaloes have released their complete fall sports schedules, in coordination with the Pac-12 unveiling the soccer and volleyball schedules that include television selections for Pac-12 Networks which the league announced Thursday.
CU has also revealed the schedules for men’s and women’s cross country, men’s and women’s golf, and the fall schedule for tennis. With the football schedules already released, the fall sports calendar for the Buffaloes is now complete.
In total, the Buffs will participate in 89 different matches, games, and competitions across the eight sports, adding to 123 dates of competition throughout the fall for CU student-athletes.
The soccer team will kick off the 2023-24 athletic season for the Colorado Buffaloes by hosting Northern Colorado on August 17 at 7:00 PM. This will be the first night game in Prentup Field history following facility upgrades over the summer. The soccer team will have the advantage of playing at home for their first seven matches and eight of their first ten.
The volleyball team will hold a Black & Gold Scrimmage on August 19, followed by two home tournaments: the Buffs Invitational from August 25-27 and the Buffs Classic on September 1-2, which will be preceded by a match at Northern Colorado on August 31. Additionally, the team will participate in the Wichita State Invitational from September 8-10 and have a home-and-home series against rival Colorado State on September 14-15 before the start of Pac-12 play.
The cross country team will commence its season with a time trial on September 1 and open its season in earnest at the Virginia Invitational on September 23, which will be held at the same location as the NCAA Championships in November. The Buffs will also participate in the Nuttycombe Invitational on October 13, followed by the Pac-12 Championships on October 27, NCAA Mountain Regionals on November 10, and the NCAA Championships on November 18, culminating the season with three weeks of postseason competition.
