SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Notre Dame Fighting Irish (10-12, 4-10 ACC) are back inside of Purcell Pavilion on Friday, Nov. 10 as they host Clemson (15-11, 6-8 ACC) to face the Tigers for the second time this season after playing at their place just last week. On Sunday, the Irish will then head to Charlottesville, VA to face the Virginia Cavaliers (9-15, 2-12 ACC) again on Sunday, Nov. 12 at 1:00 PM.

A WEEK IN REVIEW
- The Notre Dame Fighting Irish fell to Clemson in four just one week ago (26-28, 17-25, 25-16, 20-25) on Friday, Nov. 3 and Georgia Tech in three on Sunday, Nov. 5 (16-25, 15-25, 14-25).
- Sydney Palazzolo led the way with 26 kills on the weekend (3.71 kills per set) and was followed by Ava Lange with 14 kills.
- Charity McDowell finished the weekend with nine kills, a .438 hitting percentage, and eight blocks.
- The Irish are hoping for another great turnout on Friday as they set a season-high attendance against Miami (Oct. 27) as they had a crowd of 2,128, which sits at number 15 for the highest attendance in program history.
- Purcell was also packed the weekend prior on Friday, Oct. 13 against Virginia and Sunday, Oct. 15 against Pitt. Friday’s crowd of 2,070 and Sunday’s crowd of 2,016 were the some of the highest attendance numbers the program has had in the last nine years and are the 17th and 18th highest attended matches in program history.
- Since the start of the #RockwellEra, attendance has been up 193% and is up 95% since last year.
- Currently, the Irish are 5th in the ACC and 50th in the country for home attendance this season.
HISTORY VS. CLEMSON
- This will be the 16th meeting between the Irish and the Tigers with the Irish leading the overall series 10-5.
- Notre Dame has won 8 of the last 10 matchups against Clemson with their most recent victory being a three set sweep over the Tigers on the road in the 2021 season (25-20, 25-23, 26-24).
- The Irish fell last week on the road as they faced the Tigers at Jervey Gym. Notre Dame fell in four with Palazzolo recording a team-best 16 kills, followed by Lange with 10 kills.
