The Cortland women’s volleyball team will host the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) tournament semifinals and finals on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 10-11, with the tournament champion earning an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III playoffs.
Semifinal action at Corey Gymnasium begins Friday at 4 p.m. with Cortland (23-3, 9-0 SUNYAC) facing fourth-seeded Brockport (16-13, 6-3 SUNYAC), while second-seeded New Paltz (20-7, 8-1 SUNYAC) will face third-seeded Geneseo (13-13, 7-2 SUNYAC) at 7 p.m. The two semifinal winners will play for the title at Corey Gym on Saturday at 4 p.m.
Cortland is the two-time defending league champion.
TICKETS:
Tickets for the SUNYAC tournament are (per day) $5 for adults and $3 for children ages 5-12. Admission is free for children ages four and under, as well as any student from a SUNYAC school with a valid school ID. In addition, Cortland Athletics will cover the cost of attendance for any SUNY Cortland faculty or staff member.
