Levinska Gets Career High In Five-Set Win At Cal

BERKELEY, Calif. – Behind a career-high 25 kills from Marta Levinska, Sun Devil Volleyball came back down 2-1 to win in five (25-23, 20-25, 21-25, 26-24, 15-5) at Cal on Sunday afternoon in the final road match of the year. 

Notable Stats

  • Arizona State (12-18, 6-12 Pac-12) has won four in a row against Cal (7-21, 0-18 Pac-12), sweeping the season series for the second year in a row.  
  • Junior pin hitter Marta Levinska earned a career-high 25 kills in the win, her third match of the season with 20-plus kills. She also had her fifth double-double of the year, adding 14 digs.
  • As a team, the Sun Devils had 10 aces and 10 blocks. This is the third time this season ASU has had double-digit aces, led by three from Iman Isanovic. On the block, Claudia Stahlke led the way with seven, followed by five from Levinska. 
  • Senior outside hitter Iman Isanovic tallied 17 kills and moved into eighth place in the ASU record book, passing Jami Coughlin (1998-01). She also had seven digs and a team-best three aces.
  • Starting the match at DS before moving to libero in the third set, Jaden Ravnsborg matched her career high with 21 digs. This was her first match reaching double figures in that category since the last matchup with Cal earlier this season. She has 12 matches with double-digit digs this season.
  • Sophomore Geli Cyr had a well-rounded match, getting 14 digs and eight  kills on a .438 clip. She started at libero for the first time in her…
