SAN FRANCISCO – After hitting .527 over the weekend, senior opposite Marta Levinska was named the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week, the first weekly award for Sun Devil Volleyball this season.
This is the first offensive player of the week nod for Levinska, who was a two-time freshman of the week honoree back in the 2020-21 season. This is also the first weekly award for Arizona State since 2021. For the complete list of winners, head to the Pac-12’s website.
Levinska was named the MVP of the Beale Street Classic after helping the Sun Devils sweep all three matches, hitting a blistering .527 over the weekend and notching double-digit kills in each match. She only had three attack errors all weekend. She hit a career-high .606 in the sweep over Southern Miss and had a season-high 21 kills in that win, her second time this season reaching 20 or more kills. Against Little Rock, she had a season-high five blocks.

With Levinska’s efforts, Arizona State ended non-conference play with a perfect 12-0 mark, the third-best start in program history and the best start by a new head coach (JJ Van Niel). This is the second time in the 21st century going undefeated in non-conference matches (also 2015). She helped push ASU to a sixth-straight sweep, which is tied for the second-longest streak of sweeps in ASU history.
The Sun Devils finally will be home next weekend, playing in Mullett Arena for the first time. ASU will host in-state rival Arizona on Thursday before bringing in Washington on Sunday, September 24, for the 50th anniversary celebration.
