Lindsey Wilson Athletics – Rich and Valdez named NAIA and AVCA Honorable Mention All-Americans

COLUMBIA, Ky. – Lindsey Wilson’s Camryn Rich and Radaisy Valdez have been named to the NAIA and  AVCA Volleyball All-America team, NAIA officials announced on Thursday.

The pair were both selected as honorable mentions on the lists. The two honors give LWC volleyball 15 all-time honorable mentions.

Rich competed in 30 matches this season as the primary setter. She racked up a team-leading 1,054 assists while adding the second-most digs with 245. She averaged 10.5 assists per set this season.

Valdez also played in all 30 matches this season. She produced an NAIA best .472 hitting percentage whole racking up the second most kill by a Blue Raiders with 274. She also added a team-leading 65 blocks.

Lindsey Wilson won their seventh straight Mid-South Conference title this season and advanced to the NAIA National Championship Pool Play, finishing with a 25-5 overall record.
