Men’s Volleyball Sweeps Tri-Match vs. Neumann and St. Elizabeth

ASTON, Pa.- The Immaculata men’s volleyball team (4-7) swept their tri-match at Neumann University defeating Neumann 3-1 and St. Elizabeth 3-2.

In their first match of the day Immaculata defeated Neumann with scores of 25-19, 25-22, 22-25, and 25-15.

John Bohrer led the Macs offensively with 22 kills and two service aces. Garrett Pepper added 12 kills, and Jack Debes contributed nine kills and two blocks. Joe Martell distributed 39 assists. Garrett Pepper and Matthew Pfister led the Macs on defense with 11 digs each, and Joe Martell added six digs.

In their second match, Immaculata would defeat St. Elizabeth University in five sets by scores of 23-25, 25-17, 25-20, 19-25, and 15-12.

Garrett Pepper led the Macs offensively vs. St. Elizabeth with 14 digs. John Bohrer had 10 points with two service aces, and Jack Debes added eight kills. Joe Martell had four service aces and dished out 33 assists. On the defensive side Garrett Pepper had 13 digs and three blocks, Matthew Pfister had nine digs, and John Bohrer added seven digs and a block. Jack Debes had three blocks.

The Mighty Macs will return to action on Tuesday, February 21st when they host Hood College at Alumnae Hall at 7:00 PM
