THE FLATS – No. 10 Georgia Tech volleyball (10-3, 3-1 ACC) has sold out tickets for Friday’s match against Virginia (8-7, 0-4 ACC) on Friday at 7 p.m. in O’Keefe Gymnasium. The Yellow Jackets have sold out all of their matches to date this season, bringing the total to eight sellouts on the year.
Although general admission tickets have been sold out, 200 tickets remain available for Georgia Tech students with free admission at the door on a first-come, first-served basis. A valid BuzzCard must be displayed in order for students to receive a ticket to the match.
As a unit, the nation’s No. 10 squad is currently second in the ACC in both kills per set (13.70) and assists per set (12.61). The Yellow Jackets are also sitting in fourth in the league in hitting percentage and fifth in the conference in digs per set (14.16). Individually, Bergmann continues to lead the ACC in kills per set (5.23) and points per set (5.88) as she’s fourth in the nation in both.
Tech has won 68 of its last 83 matches dating back to 2019. The Yellow Jackets have also won 41 of their last 47 matches at home, earning the program’s 300th win inside O’Keefe Gymnasium in their last home appearance.
Georgia Tech has built a tradition of playing in front of sellout crowds after selling out nine of its final 10 regular season matches along with both the first and second rounds of NCAA tournament matches hosted on The Flats in 2021.
