No. 18 Arizona Claims 5-0 Win over San Francisco


MALIBU – The Arizona beach volleyball team completed an undefeated weekend with a 5-0 victory over San Francisco on Saturday. The Wildcats improve to 7-2 on the season with the win.
 
In each of the five matches, Arizona needed just two sets to defeat the Dons.
 
Perhaps the most dominating performance came from the No. 3 pair of Alana Rennie and Grace Cook, who recorded a 21-7, 2-11 win. Miranda Erro and Annie Kost also played well, coming away with the 21-10, 21-9 result.
 

Arizona will return home to host the Arizona Invitational at Bear Down Beach on Friday and Saturday against Texas A&M – Corpus Christi, Southern Miss, Arizona Christian and Cal Poly.
