TEMPE – After a home opener win against No. 18 Arizona and the weekend off, the Sand Devils are traveling out to the Bay Area to compete in the Pac-12 North Tournament. The Devils will face No. 2 USC, No. 9 Cal, No. 13 Washington, and Oregon on April 7-8.
Schedule and How to Follow:
On Friday April 7th, the Sand Devils will face Oregon and No. 2 USC at 9 a.m. MST and 12 p.m. MST, respectively. Those duals will be played in three waves and will have no live scoring or live stream.
Tournament play will continue for the team on Saturday April 8th, where they play No. 9 Cal at 10 a.m. MST and No. 13 Washington at 12 p.m. MST. Saturday’s games will be aired via Pac-12 Networks and can be followed on StatBroadcast.

Sun Devil Outlook
Arizona State (7-7, 3-2 Pac-12)
- The Sand Devils are coming off of a ranked win against No. 18 Arizona. The team came back from a 0-2 deficit to win their home opener. The victory was clinched by the No. 1 pair of Lexi Sweeney and Kylie Wickley, their second win over a ranked pair this season.
- Freshman duo of Adriana Nieves Papaleo and Carys Thomas won the fifth court in two rounds. The pair are 4-0 when competing on court five.
- Court three is currently the winningest court for the Sand Devils with a record of 9-5. Veterans Taryn Ames and Sarah Waters are 6-3 on the court, while duo Ivey Weber and Anya Pemberton are 3-2.
- The freshman duo Nieves Papaleo and Thomas and veteran duo Ames and Waters both have a 9-5 record. This is the best record on the team thus far.
Opponents Outlook
Oregon (7-15, 1-8 Pac-12)
- The Ducks are coming off of a win against conference opponent Utah at the Boise Classic.
- This is the second time the Sand Devils have faced the Ducks. In the previous meeting between the teams, Arizona State downed Oregon 4-1.
No. 2 USC (17-1, 5-0 Pac-12)
- The reigning national champions have only lost one game throughout the season, the loss being handed to them by then No. 1 TCU.
- The Trojans and Sand Devils have yet to face each other this season, but ASU is seeking their first win against USC since 2015.
