POL W: Ana Bjelica Signs with Grot Budowlani Łódź for the 2023/24 Season

Grot Budowlani Łódź confirmed the recruitment of Serbian opposite Ana Bjelica for the 2023/24 season. Bjelica is not new to the Polish league, having played for Chemik Police (2013-2015) and Radomka Radom (March-May 2021).

Bjelica boasts an impressive career with substantial experience across 12 different clubs spread across Serbia, Poland, Turkey, Brazil, Switzerland, France, Italy, and Romania. Her collection of accolades includes four Serbian league championships (2010, 2011, 2012, 2013), five Serbian Cups (2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2021), a Polish Championship (2014, 2015), a Polish Cup and Super Cup (2014), and a Swiss Championship and Cup (2018). She also has a silver (2010) and a bronze (2011) from the CEV Cup.

With the Serbian national team, Ana Bjelica won two World Championship gold medals (2018, 2022), two European Championship gold medals (2017, 2019), and a bronze medal in the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. Other laurels include a World Cup silver (2015) and a European Championship silver (2021).

With her wealth of experience and impressive track record, she will certainly strengthen our squad in both the TAURON League and the Champions League.”
