Pool Play Schedule Set for Nationals

Sioux City, IA – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has released the pool assignments and schedule for the 2021 NAIA Women’s Volleyball National Championship in Sioux City, Iowa.

The Tyson Event Center in Sioux City, Iowa, will serve as the venue for the 14th-straight women’s volleyball national championship. The tournament will be played from November 30 – December 4. At the conclusion of pool play, the top team out of each pool will advance to the single-elimination bracket starting on December 2.

All teams that advance to the final site in Sioux City competed in the opening round before advancing. At the conclusion of the opening rounds, the winners are placed in eight pools of three teams based on the seeding that was set by the selection committee.

No.18 Grand View women’s volleyball has been assigned to pool D along with No. 4 Park (Mo.) and No. 13 Dakota Wesleyan (S.D.). The Vikings will first take on Pirates of Park at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 30^th. Following a short turnaround, Grand View will then take on the Tigers of Dakota Wesleyan at 5:00 p.m. on the 30^th.

The NAIA Network – the association’s official video-streaming home – will broadcast all pool play and quarterfinal matches live at the 2021 NAIA Women’s Volleyball National Championship final site in Sioux City, Iowa. The video platform, powered by Presto, allows users access to live video, statistics and social interaction on a number of devices, including mobile. November 30 – 8:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 3:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m.

December 1  – 10:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 3:30 p.m., Tie Breaks played after pool play concludes (if necessary)
