ANN ARBOR, Mich. — University of Michigan volleyball head coach Mark Rosen announced Monday (March 20) that Ashlie Reasor and Wesley Sjoerdsma will join the Wolverines’ staff.

Reasor, a former Division I standout, enters her first season as the director of operations for the University of Michigan Volleyball program.

Reasor has guided and mentored volleyball student-athletes from the high school to collegiate levels for the last four years. The San Antonio, Texas, native spent the last season as anΒ assistant coach at Eastern Michigan.

Prior to joining the Wolverines’ staff, served as a volunteer assistant for Michigan and then went toΒ Eastern Michigan as a full time assistant coach.Β ReasorΒ also, served as a graduate assistant at the University of the Incarnate Word for two years, working with pin hitters on hitting and blocking techniques. Her duties also included tasks like recruiting coordinator duties, planning meals and hotels, and helping plan summer camps. In addition to her collegiate experience, Reasor has also worked extensively at the club level including stints with Legacy Volleyball Club and Alamo Volleyball Club.

During her collegiate career as a right side, Reasor played four seasons at Texas A&M. The San Antonio, Texas native finished with 702 career kills and 246 career blocks for the Aggies.

While in College Station, Reasor earned AVCA All-South Region honorable mention honors, as well as being named to the Southeast Conference’s All-Freshman Team and was a two-time Academic All-SEC honoree. The Aggies won the SEC championship in 2015, and Reasor also served as a team captain in her senior season.

Prior to her time as a college student-athlete, Reasor was a nationally decorated prep, being named MVP of Team West at the AVCA/Under Armour All-America match. She was also named first-team All-American by both AVCA/Under Armour and Maxpreps.com.

Reasor is a San Antonio native and graduated with a degree from Texas A&M in Sports management with minors in Parks and tourism services and Intercultural management.
