Regional rankings are coming Wednesday. They will be alphabetical. All 10 regions will rank seven teams.

I hope the push by the men’s basketball committee to publish the mock/practice rankings alphabetically and have three true rankings garners support. We only have two sets of published rankings encompassing the entire criteria ahead of the selections. If we publish the mocks, which are being done without ranked results anyway, then we’ll actually get three published rankings. Either that or we could go back to having three weeks of ordered rankings, be grownups about it, and realize that adding results versus regionally opponents in the second week can (and should) alter the rankings dramatically in most regions.

Another argument would say that two true rankings before selections are enough. I do not disagree necessarily.
