Scarlett Dahl Sets Program Record For Most Appearances During GCU Win


Stanford, Calif — Senior Scarlett Dahl passed Natalie Robinson for the most appearances in a Husky career with her 128th career appearance during the 3-2 win against No.17 Grand Canyon to end the regular season on Saturday.

 

Zoey Henson and Lauren Wilcock (No. 2) moved up the record book for the second straight day dispatching GCU in three sets with a 17-15 win in the third set. The duo picked up their 19th win of the season, tying them with Carly DeHoog/Shayne McPherson from 2018 for the second most pair wins in a single season.

 

The freshman duo of Sarah Wilcock and Brooke Balue (No. 5) posted the second straight win for the Beach Dawgs winning both sets by at least four points.

 

Piper Monk-Heidrich and Maggy Rabitsch (No. 1) brought home the dual in a critical must-win final fifth match. The pair came back and won the first set 22-20. The pair came out fast and won in the second set in a dominant fashion 21-16. Rabitsch is now sixth all-time for most wins by an individual with her 20th career win as a freshman.

5.  Brooke Balue and Sarah Wilcock (UW) def. Hailey Hutchings and Elly Collins (GCU) 21-14 21-17
