Six Trojans Honored as NAIA Scholar Athletes

KANSAS CITY –The No. 11 Taylor volleyball team added an academic achievement to its collection of athletic achievements thus far in 2022, as six Trojans received Daktronics NAIA Women’s Volleyball Scholar-Athlete awards on Tuesday.

Kacy Bragg, Ryan Czerniak, Chloe Holtz, Chelsea Hurt, Alli Pflugner, and Karli Ware were among 609 women’s volleyball student-athletes from around the country honored for their achievements in the classroom.

To be eligible for an NAIA Scholar-Athlete award, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale while having attended one full year at their current institution.
