CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson volleyball team (3-0) won games against both Louisiana Tech (3-0) and Presbyterian College (3-0) on Saturday to complete the sweep of the Big Orange Bash in Jervey Gym.

Behind a nine-ace performance, including four by sophomore Devan Taylor and three from freshman Mia McGrath, the Tigers swept the opening match of the day against Louisiana Tech in three sets.
Camryn Hannah picked up where she left off last night, leading the charge offensively for the Tigers with 11 kills. McGrath nabbed her first career double-double as a Tiger with 10 kills and 11 digs.
The Tigers came out ready to battle in the first set with Hannah and senior Ani Clark tallying four and two kills, respectively. Clemson went on multiple scoring runs to secure the first set, including Taylor tallying back-to-back aces, and McGrath clinching the set with a solo block.
In the second set, neither the Tigers nor the Bulldogs were able to pull ahead as the programs traded leads six times and tied for an additional 13. Taylor and McGrath pushed the pressure to help Clemson edge Louisiana Tech after Taylor continued to roll at the service line with back-to-back aces, and McGrath came up with her second solo block and four kills.
The Tigers completed the sweep quickly in the third pushing the lead to 10-7 after an ace from freshman Sophie Catalano and a kill from Hannah. Clemson went on a 6-0 that included three kills from junior Colleen Finney and two from McGrath. McGrath sealed the 25-14 set victory with an ace as Clemson defeated the Bulldogs.
Presbyterian, 3-0 (25-22, 25-11, 25-20) – Box Score
Clemson stayed hot in the final game of the Big Orange Bash to complete the clean sweep on Saturday. Clark controlled the match from the first serve and did not let off the gas, clocking 12 kills to hit .667. The senior also tabbed two blocks (one solo, one assisted).
Three Tigers, Hannah, Clark and redshirt freshman Jacyn Bamis, finished with three kills in set one as the team hit .364. Hannah picked up two solo blocks while Bamis added one to secure the set victory.
In the second set, Clemson owned the service line as four different players (Hannah, Taylor, senior Mckenna Slavik and freshman Becca Micelle) picked up an ace. The Tigers pushed the envelope to double their lead, 16-8, that included three kills in a four-point stretch from Clark. Clark finished the second set with five kills, while Bamis, Hannah…
