- Clemson advances to the third round of the NIVC after sweeping Eastern Kentucky in the opening round and defeating Ball State in the second round
- This is the second-consecutive season Clemson has made the NIVC, and the third time overall

NIVC HISTORY
- The 2023 selection to the NIVC is Clemson’s third selection in program history
- The Tigers advanced to the third round of 2023 after defeated Ball State in five sets
- Clemson’s opening round sweep against EKU in 2023 marks the first postseason win since 2018
- Clemson first made the NIVC in 2018 and advanced to the third round before dropping a thre-set match to College of Charleston
- The Tigers defeated both Alabama A&M and Radford that season to advance to be one of the final eight teams
- Last season, Clemson was selected and played Kent State in the opening round in Lynchburg, Va.
NOTEWORTHY SEASON
- Clemson’s 19 wins ties for the most in a single-season since 2018 when Clemson finished the regular season with 17 and ended the season with 19 following two wins in the NIVC Tournament
- Through the first 20 games of the season, Clemson posted a 12-8 record to mark the best start in program history since 2014 (14-6) – maintained this through the first 25 matches with a 15-10 record for the best record through 25 matches since 2014 as well
- The Tigers also won eight ACC matches in 2023 to mark the most under Head Coach Jackie Simpson Kirr and the most since 2018
- With the eight wins, Clemson tied for eighth in the ACC to mark the highest finish since 2012 when the Tigers tied for fourth with a 12-8 record
- The Tigers recorded their 900th victory in program history after defeating Virginia Tech in Jervey Gym on Oct. 1, 2023 – happened in the 46th year of competition and held a 900-690 overall record
