SEATTLE — Washington has added its non-conference opponents to the previously announced Big Ten Conference schedule to complete its 2024 volleyball schedule. The Huskies are just over two months from their first match of the year, which is set for Aug. 30 on the road in Bozeman, Montana. Three former Pac-12 rivals highlight the non-conference slate.

The Huskies will open at Montana State against the Bobcats on Aug. 30 and play Middle Tennessee the next day as part of the MSU Blackridge Invite. From there it’s off to Boulder to take part in the Buffs Classic, hosted by Pac-12 turned Big 12 member Colorado. Washington will play Fresno State on Sept. 6, then Georgia on Sept. 7, and the Buffs on Sept. 8.

The 2024 home season will open with a bang, as the Huskies and Washington State continue their rivalry as non-conference foes this time around. UW and WSU face off on Sept. 13, and the Huskies then host UC Davis on Sept. 15 before heading back on the road.

The third former Pac-12 foe on the schedule is Oregon State, with the Dawgs returning to Corvallis on Sept. 17. From there the Huskies continue south for a road challenge at Long Beach State on Sept. 19, and non-conference play finishes in Long Beach with a neutral site match against Pepperdine.

Taking the Big Ten schedule into account as well, Washington will be facing 11 teams that reached the 2023 NCAA tournament, with 13 total matches against those qualifiers.
