OXFORD, Miss. – Alabama volleyball fell to Ole Miss in three sets in Friday’s Southeastern Conference opener.
Alabama (10-2, 0-1 SEC) held a 17-16 lead in set one and a 2-1 led in set two, but it was Ole Miss (7-5, 1-0 SEC) in front for the rest of the match. The loss is the Crimson Tide’s first to come in three sets this season, stymied with a season-low .084 hitting percentage. Kendyl Reaugh led the offensive effort with eight kills, with Callie Kieffer totaling 27 assists and Sydney Gholson digging 14 balls on the defensive end.
