TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Stillman College’s volleyball season opener on Thursday, Sept. 1 has been canceled due to Oakwood Uniersity’s roster availability.
“We are disappointed to not be able to open the season at home as we planned. We look forward to getting under way next weekend on the road,” said head coach Joel Penfield.
Stillman is next slated to travel to Oakwood University in Huntsville, Alabama on Tuesday, Sept. 6, but that match is now to be determined. Check GoStillman.com for updates about the Sept. 6 match.
The Southern States Athletics Conference schedule will begin Sept. 9 at the University of Mobile, followed by a match at Faulkner University on Sept. 10.
The next home match is Tuesday, Sept. 13 at 6 p.m. against Blue Mountain College. Admission will be free.
