COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri Volleyball Head Coach Dawn Sullivan announced Friday the signing of graduate transfer Colleen Finney.

Finney, a 6-1 middle blocker/right side hitter from Blythewood, South Carolina, heads to Columbia after playing the past three seasons at Clemson.

Finney led the Tigers in blocking with 79.0 (15 solo and 64 assists) in 2022.

Offensively, she posted 231 kills this past fall appearing in all 31 matches with 24 starts. Finney concluded the season with eight matches with double-digit kills and posted a career-high 13 kills twice against The Citadel (9/3/22) and at ETSU (9/9/22).

In three seasons at Clemson, Finney totaled 408 kills with 142 total blocks (26 solo, 116 assists) and 93 digs.

In high school, she racked up a multitude of accolades including AVCA All-America Honorable Mention, AVCA All-Region selection and 2019 SCCAWS (South Carolina Coaches Association of Women’s Sports) All-Star Player over her senior year in 2019. Finney was also the Region IV-5A Player of the Year in back-to-back seasons.

Finney is the third transfer for Sullivan after the addition of libero Maya Sands in January and outside hitter Dilara Gedikoglu on Wednesday.
