KINGSPORT, TN – The Bryan College Volleyball team woke up early for their semi-final match against No. 4 seeded Brenau University. The Lady Lions battled their way through a tightly-contested three sets to earn their second sweep of the tournament and advance to the championship game. The final scores for each set were 25-16, 25-20, 27-25. This is the first time since 2013 that Bryan has made an appearance in the AAC Tournament Championship.
INSIDE THE STATS
- Bryan won the battle at the net with 15 blocks, led by Raegan Malugin with 4.5.
- Gigi Ford recorded 10 kills for her second double-digit total of the tournament.
- The Lady Lions limited the Golden Tigers to a .057 hitting percentage.
