Women’s Volleyball Honors Five Daktronics Scholar-Athletes for 2022

Kansas City, MO – Grand View women’s volleyball has five total recipients of the 2022 Daktronics Scholar-Athlete honors. To achieve this status you have to have a grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher. 

The 2022 list features 1,557 student-athletes that achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) at their institution. In order to be nominated by an institution’s head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and have attended one full year at said institution.

Grand View women’s volleyball has five recipients who are up for the Daktronics Scholar-Athlete award.

Brooke Flater (SR/Grundy Center, IA) | Social Work 

Emily Box (JR/West Point, IA) | Accounting 

Rylie Olson (SR/Osage, IA) | Kinesiology 

Sierra Wright (JR/Runnells, IA) | Biology Pre Physicians Assistant 

Taylor Carey (SR/Waukee, IA) | Communications & Media Practice
