Kansas City, MO – The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced the field for the 2022 Heart of America Athletic Conference Women’s Volleyball Conference Tournament, as eight squads from across the conference have qualified for the event.
The Heart Quarterfinals will begin on Saturday, November 5 at four different campus sites, winners of those matches will move onto the Heart Semifinals on Tuesday, November 8. The Tournament will conclude on Saturday, November 12 with the championship match.
Grand View, the No. 4 seed, is slated to host No. 5 seed Central Methodist University in Des Moines. The Vikings are 14-17 overall and 12-7 in Heart play, while the No. 20 nationally ranked Eagles are 20-7 overall and 13-6 in Heart action.
Grand View defeated CMU earlier this season in three sets in Des Moines, 25-21, 25-22, 25-18.
The quarterfinal match between the Vikings and Eagles is scheduled to start at 2:00 p.m. CT.
