Manama, Bahrain, May 19, 2023 – Hefty Korean Air Jumbos Pro-Volleyball Club pulled off a hard-fought 3-1 (25-21, 22-25, 25-16, 25-19) victory over Bayankhongor Crownd Geo VC at their last quarterfinal match at the 2023 Asian Men’s Club Volleyball Championship at Isa Bin Rashid Hall 1 on Friday.
The scintillating 3-1 victory over Bayankhongor in the Friday’s quarterfinals placed Korean Air Jumbos Pro-Volleyball Club on the third spot in Pool E and they are due to next go up against the fourth place of Pool F, Kuwait Sporting Club, in the Classification round for 5th-8th places.
Bayankhongor Crownd Geo VC finished fourth in Pool E and will next challenge Pool F third place, South Gas Club of Iraq in the same classification.
Prolific Jeong Hanyyong scored a match-high 22 points including 18 attacks for Korean Air Jumbos Pro-Volleyball Club, while Khangal Tamiraa led Bayankhongor Crownd Geo VC with 19 attack points from 32 attempts.
