Lewis Men’s Volleyball Set for Huge Matchup Wednesday Against Loyola; Takes On Purdue Fort Wayne Friday


ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – The Lewis men’s volleyball team is set to compete in a pair of matches this week, one at Neil Carey Arena and the other at Fort Wayne, Ind. Be sure to catch all the action for these MIVA games Wednesday and Friday.

Series History vs Loyola

Loyola leads the all-time series 37-29 against Lewis. In their most recent meeting on March 26, 2022, Lewis lost 3-0. Max Roquet(Johnston, Iowa/Johnston) and Kevin Kauling (Naperville, Ill./Neuqua Valley) led the Flyers’ attack. Roquet recorded 8 kills; meanwhile, Kauling recorded 23 assists.

Series History vs. Purdue Fort Wayne

Lewis leads the all-time series 36-31 against Purdue Fort Wayne. In their most recent match March 24, 2022, Lewis came out on top 3-0. Roquet (Johnston, Iowa/Johnston), John Davis, and Tyler Morganled the Flyers’ attack. Roquet and Davis put up 10 kills apiece, and Morgan had 25 assists.

Last Week in Review

Lewis split games last week as they bulldozed Quincy and fell in a close match against Lindenwood. The attack was led by Christian Prayer (St. Louis, Mo/Parkway North) and Roquet (Johnston, Iowa/Johnston) as they combined for 32 strikes over the two-game span. Kauling (Naperville, Ill./Neuqua Valley) helped the effort, securing 42 assists over the two-game span.
