Prim and Nootsara led an era of dominance in women’s volleyball for Thailand, making them sporting legends of the Southeast Asian nation. These two setting greats accounted for 14 of Thailand’s 16 gold medal haul in the regional multi-sport event.

Prim made her SEA Games debut and won gold at Kuala Lumpur 1989, then won five more gold medals and a silver medal thereafter.

Nootsara’s first appearance was at Kuala Lumpur 2001, where she was Prim’s apprentice until the next edition at Hanoi 2003.

Nootsara carried that responsibility with huge commitment, delivering incredible results. After winning two gold medals as the second setter, she went on to win eight consecutive gold medals and led Thailand to reach global status and its most glorious period in their history.
