The Vikings would respond well after the timeout and would get a kill from Taylor Carey (SR/Waukee, IA), followed by back-to-back kills from Sydney Beasley (SO/Darlington, WI), forcing the Eagles into a timeout of their own after the girls closed their deficit to 16-20. The first set would end in favor of CMU after an error on the Viking’s part, and a kill from the Eagles.
