CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia volleyball team (9-13, 2-10 ACC) travel to Miami (15-7, 8-4 ACC) on Friday (Nov. 3) for a 7:00 matchup against the Hurricanes at Knight Sports Complex. The Cavaliers will then face off against the Florida State Seminoles (16-8, 10-2 ACC) on Sunday (Nov. 5) at 1 p.m. at Tully Gymnasium.
Both matches are set to be streamed on ACC Network Extra (ACCNX).

- Both of Virginia’s matches will be streamed on ACC Network Extra (ACCNX) through the ESPN app, which is available through participating TV providers that carry ACC Network.

SERIES HISTORY
- The Cavaliers trail Miami 9-19 in the all-time series between the two sides. Virginia has dropped the last 11 meetings between the two sides, with its last win over the Hurricanes coming in 2013.
- Virginia also trails the all-time series with Florida State 16-42. The Hoos took down the Seminoles last year on Oct. 14, 2022 in five sets. Abby Tadder threw down 18 kills and three errors on 29 attempts (.517 hitting percentage) to go along with four blocks while Gabby Easton recorded 35 assists. Grace Turner also registered 15 kills and three blocks.
LAST TIME OUT
- The Hoos split their matches last weekend with a 1-3 loss to Wake Forest on Friday (Oct. 27) and a thrilling, come-from-behind win over in-state rivals Virginia Tech in five sets on Sunday (Oct. 29) at John Paul Jones Arena.
- Despite winning the first set against the Demon Deacons, Virginia could not maintain any offensive momentum. Setters Ashley Le and Regan Trueblood each posted double-doubles with 18 assists and 10 digs and 22 assists and 15 digs, respectively.
- In Virginia’s first ever match at John Paul Jones Arena, the Hoos overcame an 0-2 deficit to the Hokies to claim their second conference win of the season behind standout performances from Abby Tadder (18 kills, six blocks) and Veresia Yon (12 kills, nine blocks). The match drew a record crowd of 3,162 fans.
