CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia volleyball team (10-15, 3-12 ACC) are back in action at Memorial Gymnasium this weekend to host ACC opponent Duke (17-9, 8-7 ACC) on Friday (Nov. 17) at 7 p.m.
Virginia will honor six seniors, Ciera Hecht, GG Carvacho, Veresia Yon, Chloe Wilson, Regan Trueblood and Madison Morey in a pre-match ceremony.
All matches hosted at Memorial Gymnasium are free to the public.

- Both of Virginia’s matches will be streamed on ACC Network Extra (ACCNX) through the ESPN app, which is available through participating TV providers that carry ACC Network.

- This year marks the 45th season of Virginia Volleyball, which held its inaugural season in 1979.

SERIES HISTORY
- The Hoos trail the Blue Devils in the all-time series history, 14-58. Duke has won 11 of the previous matchups between the two squads.
- Duke and Virginia last met earlier this season (Sept. 24) where the Blue Devils took the match in three sets. Abby Tadder led the Cavaliers on the offensive end, throwing down seven kills and notching three blocks while setter Ashley Le tallied a double-double with 19 assists and 12 digs.
LAST TIME OUT
- Virginia picked up its third ACC win of the season in a five set victory over Notre Dame last Sunday (Nov. 12).
- After taking the first set, the Cavaliers fell into a 2-1 deficit against the Fighting Irish but were able to string together strong offensive performances through the final two sets.
- Brooklyn Borum and Abby Tadder each set a career high in kills against Notre Dame after the two each threw down 21 kills. UVA also had three players record double-doubles in the match: Ashley Le (41 assists, 22 digs), Milan Gomillion (20 digs, career high 11 assists) and Regan Trueblood (18 assists, 10 digs).
