Beach Volleyball
For men’s and women’s beach volleyball, the competition will start with preliminaries on July 24, which will take up the first week and then the top 16 players will play starting August 1. The quarterfinals will begin August 3 with the women followed by the men playing on August 4. The semifinals will be on August 5 and the final women’s matches along with the medal ceremony will be on August 6. The men will close out the competition with their final matches and ceremony happening on August 7.

Indoor Volleyball
The women’s and men’s indoor volleyball schedule looks very similar to the beach volleyball schedule in that they both have the preliminary rounds happening early in the competition, though with indoor, the men and women are separated by day and they have two pools.
The quarterfinals start August 3 with the men and the women’s quarterfinal starting the day after. The men’s semifinal starts August 5 with the women following the day after. And finally the men’s final matches and medals ceremony is happening August 7, with the women finishing up August 8.
