Women’s Volleyball Earns 11th Straight AVCA Academic Award

LAMONI – Earlier today, the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced the Graceland University Women’s Volleyball team as a recipient of the 2020-21 AVCA Team Academic Award.  For coach Stew McDole and the Yellowjacket volleyball program, this is the 11th consecutive year they have earned this award.

The United State Marine Corps (USMC) and the (AVCA) announced that 1,275 collegiate and high school teams have earned the USMC/AVCA Team Academic Award for the 2020-2021 season.  The award, initiated in the 1992-93 academic year, honors volleyball teams that maintain a year-long grade-point average of 3.30 on a 4.0 scale or 4.10 on a 5.0 scale.
